Pub Charity Limited distributes donations to worthy community organisations all over New Zealand through the funds raised in gaming machines hosted in our member hotels and taverns.We first began raising donations funds for New Zealand communities in 1987. That’s 30 years of excellent partnerships with our venues, 30 years of great entertainment for our players and 30 years supporting communities all over New Zealand.

Every year, we give millions of dollars in grants to thousands of applicants from a huge range of sporting groups - from rugby and netball to kayaking and lawn bowls. We are proud to be the largest funder of amateur sports participation in New Zealand.

Boffa Miskell is a leading New Zealand environmental planning and design consultancy with offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin. Their award-winning consultants are specialists in planning, landscape architecture, urban design, ecology, biosecurity, graphics, mapping and cultural advisory.

They have generously provided ongoing assistance with our pontoon and boat ramp development project. This has included ecological and landscape assessments, cultural advice and liaison, and resource consent approval.

The Racing Industry Transition Agency will also distribute net proceeds to the communities of New Zealand, in accordance with its Sports Authorised Purpose, and has determined that up to 20% of its net proceeds shall be distributed under its Sports Authorised Purposes.

We’re dedicated to providing local funding to local communities.  We share your passion and enthusiasm for amateur sport, education and various charitable community initiatives and we’re here to help.Grassroots Trust was established in 2003 to support sport, education and community sectors.  Great care is taken to ensure funds granted are well used and for the authorised purpose and many local communities have already benefited from a Grassroots Trust grant.

The Southern Trust provides funding to a diverse range of organisations and communities right across the country including amateur sport, education, community purposes, welfare organisations, arts and culture. Most families within New Zealand have received some benefit, either directly or indirectly, from gaming machine proceeds through our funding.

The Lion Foundation is one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected Charitable Trusts.  Since 1988 we have returned over $850 million back to the community, supporting thousands of good causes all around New Zealand.

The North and South Trust Limited (NSTL) was set up primarily to support amateur rugby and sport in the Auckland Region. NSTL generates funds for its grant distribution by operating Class 4 gaming machines in pubs/venues in the Auckland, Tauranga and Hawkes Bay Regions.

We think it’s fair to say that Kiwis are a pretty legendary bunch! We’ve been saying thanks to Local Legends within the community, and we think it’s time to thank some of our great community clubs and teams.Most of us are involved with a community club or team that could use a hand, and we want to help more Kiwis continue in their legendary ways. 
Our first Local Legend grant has been awarded to the Bay of Plenty Coast Rowing Club.
